My weight loss journey started in 2019. I’ve lost over 150lbs since then, and I wanted to find a way to share in my experiences and success. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to witness and motive others with my story and experiences, and my passion stems from wanting to help others reach their goals with both nutrition and fitness.
If I can do it, anyone can!
Trained in a background of accounting in finance, my life consisted of sitting in an office for 8-10 hours a day. Soon enough, after years of just trying to be an adult - I really struggled with keeping the pounds off being inactive.
In my younger years (pre-kids), I picked up a passion for running-even having a few marathons under my belt. I'm a novice cyclist, but fast forward to the present, I have grown to love the powerlifting lifestyle and the ease of meditation and mobility.
As a certified personal trainer through ISSA, I have learned the tools to allow me to motivate others, as well as progressing in my own knowledge and skills in this industry.
My purpose is to bring happiness to others by helping my clients form a new healthy lifestyle by using the tools I can share through fitness and nutrition. As a trainer, I implement strength and conditioning. functional movements through resistance training, circuit-based, high intensity interval training, technique and recovery for all ages.
I believe in the mindset of living a healthy and active lifestyle and want to share my expertise with everyone. I want people to understand how feeling comfortable enough to being happy also means leading a healthy lifestyle. My purpose is to help people achieve their fitness goals by educating them on how to be happy by living with a fit mindset.
What you get out of me, I am R E A L. As a mother, family comes first. As a trainer, I am constantly learning and educating myself. I have been there, through my own transformation - so I understand. I am passionate about what I do, it's not enough to just show up and train people. I believe everyone has it in them to change when they're ready to do so.
One of my favourite sayings,
"If you want to be great, picture what that would look like."
And remember, when you become consistent, that's when results happen.
